Stephanie Rose was born to Nelson Aloys Otieno and Cyprine Rita Otieno on 3 rd August 1994. She was the only child to the couple. She was granddaughter of the late Aloys Owour, the late Penina Ojwang Aloys of Andingo` Kanyakwar village Kokwanyo location in Kabondo Kasipul constituency, Homabay County; and the late Simon Awiti and Justina Olage of Mawego, Kobuya Village.
